Various Carmelray CSR Activities

  • Supports 5 Scholars in Dualtech & San Sebastian every year.

  • Gave food assistance and distributed food packs to the GK Village residents as our Christmas drive 2021

  • Adopted the jeepney drivers of Canlubang and gave food packs and rice as our Christmas drive 2020

  • Prepared and  distributed food packs to residents of the Old Town in March 2020

  • Adopted a community in Taal Batangas and gave food packs in 2020

  • Clean up of the Park after the Taal Eruption in Jan 2020​

Carmel Dorms

  • Carmel Dorms is an exclusive dormitory for the women transient workers at Carmelray Industrial Park II located in Calamba, Laguna. With the convenience of proximity location to their respective work places, Carmel Dorms aims to provide a safe and decent living quarters for approximately 400 workers.

  • There are 5 clusters to house 108 rooms. Each room has it’s own toilet and bath with 2 sets of bunk beds with proper lighting and good ventilation.Common facilities include a laundry, dishwashing, ironing and dining areas

Carmelray GK Village

  • A residential community developed in partnership with Gawad Kalinga (GK), a Philippine-based movement launched in 2003 that aims to end poverty by first restoring the dignity of the poor

​

  • Developed in 2007 for 145 housing beneficiaries identified both by Carmelray and GK

​

  • The village has an area of 1.9 hectares and contains a pre-school, a multi-purpose hall, a basketball court, paved roads, and proper water, drainage, and electrical systems

​

  • Located next to Carmelray Industrial Park 1

​

  • Organized the Community Gardens Project with the residents

​

  • Community Engagement with TKRI Foundation

​
