Our history began in 1990 when the children of Ramon A. Yulo decided to venture into industrial development of the formerly agricultural land that they owned. Led by the daughters Maria Elena and Maria Rosario, they named the company “Carmelray” in honor of their parents, Carmen (“Carmel”) and Ramon A. Yulo (“RAY”), and began a multi-year process to bring industrial locators from around the globe.

Today, Carmelray has developed two progressive and thriving industrial parks in Canlubang and Calamba, Laguna. These industrial parks are classified as Special Economic Zones by the Philippine Economic Zone Authority and are home to 130 locators that give employment to 60,000 people.

 

Carmelray has also since evolved into The Carmelray Group, comprising of Carmelray Industrial Corporation, San Ramon Holdings Inc., Carmelray II Inc. (formerly known as Carmelray-JTCI Corporation), and Carmelray Enterprises Inc.

These companies work in tandem to:

• provide estate management in Carmelray Industrial Parks 1 & 2

• provide water supply, wastewater treatment services and environmental management to park locators

• develop flourishing residential communities and immersive commercial & leisure spaces
